Have you ever heard of microlearning? Everyone has a packed agenda, a phone which is constantly ringing and trainings which still need to be finished. As a manager, you want employees to finish their trainings on time, but they have no time too spare. Microlearnings are the ideal solution. We gladly explain how a microlearning works exactly and why it works so well, so read on!

What is a microlearning?

Microlearnings are manageable, small ‘chunks’ of study material, which will occupy a user for a maximum of 10 minutes. They’re nice and short and very useful! That’s exactly the reason why we use microlearnings at Hubper. We believe in making learning easier and more fun. One step towards this goal is making microlearnings available on our platform. You can also follow microlearnings in our app, whenever and wherever you prefer!

At Hubper we want users to achieve a certain desired level of knowledge, and remain on this level in an efficient and effective way. The intensity of the microlearnings is adapted to the users’ level of knowledge per learning goal. The users are informed by the system when new microlearnings are ready for them.

Microlearning makes sure there’s a lower cognitive load and no long attention spans are needed. Learning doesn’t need to be a planned activity, and can happen quick and in between other activities. 3. An efficient & effective learning process

Because microlearning concern targeted and relevant information, this information can directly be put into practice. As a result, the information is memorised for a longer period of time, compared to long pieces of text.
